Katie had her first sock puppet today. Yes, it was just a sock, no bug eyes or puff ball nose. She thought it was silly all the same. Especially, when I had it give her kisses.

A New Direction
There are so many decisions to make during our lifetime... and most of them are unexpected. Some doors have closed and some have opened for the Crosby family this past week. Jake and I have been thinking and praying and have come up with some decisions. We're going to be putting our townhouse up for sale and moving back to Tampa. Jake is going to finish out his contract with the DOH Prosecution Services and then move into the family insurance business.
So, as of May 30th, the Crosbys are going to be packing up and leaving Tallahassee to move back to our hometown. If you know anyone looking for a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath on the NW side of town, send 'em our way.

A New Trick
I was watching TV today when Katie Belle came walking up to me with her pants on. One leg in each pant leg. Her only problem is that she can't pull the pants over her little booty. She walks around holding them up, grunting, until she finds me and I pull them up. Another thing is she does not stop at one pair. She likes to layer. In the pictures below, she is working on putting on her 3rd set of pants.

Easter Eggs with Nana
Kaitlyn had her first experience dying Easter Eggs with Nana this year. She really enjoyed it, but you could totally see Kaitlyn's work oriented personality in it. She was moving as fast as she could to grab all of the eggs and cram them into one dye container. When we showed her they couldn't all fit and gave her a second dye, she crammed that one full too. Then, once she had crammed all of her eggs into dye containers, she promptly took them all out and moved them back to the egg carton. She was going to start the whole process over when I told her it was time to go to bed. She went to church in her cute Easter outfit the next day with dark green finger nails. Pretty.
Sneaky McSneakerson
So, a "child proof" lock is broken on one of our lower kitchen cabinets. Kaitlyn has realized, that she can use the ledge of that cabinet to step up and grab food from off of the counter. She has gotten into many things, cookies, chips and most recently... crackers.

Saying Good-Bye
Earlier this week Jake pointed out that he has been watching ER for half of his life. That is quite a span, and we doubt that such a scenario will ever happen again with a television series. So, even though I don't watch ER, (I listen to it, I get light headed with all of the blood and yuck) I tried to make an event out of it. We had California Pizza Kitchen pizza, White Cheddar Popcorn, Mike & Ikes and Ice Cream! I have to say, I gorged myself and had a weird texture coating my mouth afterwards, but it was well worth it. The final episode was very well done. All in all, it was a very nice good-bye to 15 years of entertainment.

For Future Reference....
I often think of this Far Side Comic while going about by my life. It helps me to keep from boiling over.
P.S. This isn't totally random, I posted this in reference to Lindsey Miller's post entitled, "You...FOOL!"
